19th August (Sunday) 1928. Rain all day, but in afternoon drove south to [[blank space]]  & there along west to near Helvick Hd. By the roadside near [[blank space]] on [[underlined]] Salix cinerea [[/underlined]] I took numerous larvae of sawflies which I sent to Dr. Perkins: also two larvae of [[underlined]] Sat. pavonia [[/underlined]] with one yellow tubercle turned brown in third row (same tubercle in each larva), as if icked.

20th August 1928 . Drove to Bunmahon [[circled]] 1 [[/circled]], WA, where spent an hour in sun before heavy showers: then on to Cove [[circled]] 2 [[circled]] & back again to Bunmahon, where spent one hour on sand & one hour (latter dull) about "quarries" south of bridge: then home, but stopped at Cappagh Ho.
Durrow [[circled]] 3 [[/circled]] for a few minutes & called at Cappagh Ho. before going to Dungarvan. A showery day!
