Add. aculentus to 31/8/28.[[underlined]] Pompilus gibbus [[/underlined]] [[2 female symbols]], [[underlined]] P. plumbeus [[/underlined]] [[2 female symbols]].
Crabro (? [[underlined]] vesmaeli [[/underlined]]) seen.
[[underlined]] Ametastegia glabrata [[/underlined]] [[checkmark]] RCLP. [[female symbol]] & [[underlined]] Cladius difformis [[/underlined]] [[checkmark]] RCLP [[female symbol]] in oat field! & one white [[fly?]] Selandria serva 1 [[female symbol]] & Athalia lineolata & Tenthredo arcuata.
[[underlined]] Lissonota parallela [[/underlined]] 4 [[2 female symbols]] in sandy hollows: one has black scutellum.

7th Sept. 1928.  A dull day, with heavy rain in aft. - clearing in evening.
Drove to Bunnakill, Maam Cross, W. Galway stopping for lunch at Longhrea, SG, round which there is some very nice collecting ground for insects if weather was fine. The only insects taken during the day were in the evening at Bunnakill.
2 icks. [[underlined]] Homocidus bizonarius [[/underlined]] Grav. a [[male symbol]] of "var. G.". AWS. 1931.

8th Sept. 1928.  A fine day after heavy showers at 11 AM. 
Drove to Roundstone & Dog's Bay [[circled]] 3 [[/circled]], after stopping to collect at Ardderry Lough [[circled]] 1 [[/circled]] & south side of Ballynahinch woods ^[[by a small lake beside railway]] [[circled]] 2 [[/circled]]. Shore of Cregduff L., Roundstone. [[circled]] 4 [[/circled]] 
[[underlined]] Panerema inops [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] (Braconid) taken in marsh on Gorteen Pt., Dog's Bay under stone, where 2 living [[underlined]] Vertigo angustior [[/underlined]] found (many in 1906!). ? associated with ants which were very common. [[underlined]] Myrmica laevinodis, Lasius niger, alienus [[/underlined]] ? & [[underlined]] flavus [[/underlined]] at 3
[[underlined]] Bombus distinguendus [[/underlined]] [[virgin female symbol]] seen; another taken on  [[underlined]] [[Dabeocea polyphia?]] [[/underlined]] at 4.
[[underlined]] B. muscorum [[/underlined]], common; [[underlined]] B. agrorum [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] & [[female symbol]] & [[2 virgin female symbols]], river; [[underlined]] B. lucorum [[/underlined]] [[2 virgin female symbols]] at 4.
[[underlined]] B. jonellus [[/underlined]] [[2 virgin female symbol]] & 1 [[female symbol]] carrying pollen at 4. [[underlined]] B. lapidorius [[/underlined]] 1 [[virgin female symbol]] at 3.
[[underlined]] Odynerus ([[trimarguatus?]] [[/underlined]]?) seen on rocks at 4
[[underlined]] Halictus [[strikethrough]] [[albiedic?]] [[/strikethrough]] albipes [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] at 3.
[[underlined]] Lissonota bellator [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]] & [[2 female symbols]] common on Angelica in lane to 3.
