Ichneumonidae verified by Dr. A. Roman
51. [[underlined]] Myriarthrus lineator [[/underlined]] Schj Rathdrum, WI.
"Megastylus & Myriarthrus are among the little known genera & figure among the [[underlined]] Pectiscini [[/underlined]]. The short, wide open antennal scape is distinctive for them & exists also in the Plectiscine genus [[underlined]] Disolus [[/underlined]]. In my opinion this series of genera is continued by [[underlined]] Poemenia [[/underlined]] (& [[underlined]] Calliclisis [[/underlined]]), [underlined]] Deuteroxorides [[/underlined]], & [[underlined]] Rhyssa [[/underlined]] & [[underlined]] Megarhssa [[/underlined]]. No doubt these genera look very different, & the small 'Plactiscines' of course must prey on quite other insects than the gigantic Megarhyssa, but there is a curtain 'family air' about them all." A.R. in p.c. dated 26.2.'29

52. [[underlined]] Exephanes occupator [[/underlined]] Gr. [[male symbol]], a var. of strange appearance, with black hind jemora. An intermediate between vars. 7 & 8 of Albricht "A.R. loc. cit. marsh by R. Blackwater, S. of Cappoquin, WA.'

53. [[underlined]] Pimpla (Epicorus) pomorum [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]]. Magherabeg, WI. 1.7.27. Roman evidently agrees, but adds "I am not sure whether this (i.e. [[underlined]] pomorum [[/underlind]]) is a distinct species or a colour form of [[underlined]] Ep. calobatus [[/underlined]] Gr. They have been reared together with [[underlined]] calobatus [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] & [[female symbol]], but I don't know any special [[male symbol]] [[underlined]] topomorum [[/underlined]]" A. Roman in list (with p.c.) dated 26-[[underlined]] 3 [[/underlined]] -29.

54. [[underlined]] Pimpla (Epicurus) [[/underlined]] sp. now. ? [[female symbol]] (AWS). Meeting of the Waters, Avoca, WI. 23.7.27. = "[[underlined]] Epicurus [[/underlined]] ("[[underlined]] Troctoccrus [[/underlined]]") [[underlined]] elegans [[/underlined]] Wold! Ruschlea & Seyrig have both cleared up this species" A. Roman 26.3.29.

55. [[underlined]] Pimpla pomorum [[/underlined]] or n.sp.? [[male symbol]] (AWS). Glenmalur, WI. 24.7.'27. = [[underlined]] Ep. elegans [[/underlined]] Wold. [[male symbol]]. A. Roman. 26.3.29.

56. [[underlined]] Pimpla [[/underlined]] [[female symbl]]. Seems to fit Schmied's. idea of [[underlined]] P. brunnea [[/underlined]] Brischke AWS. Near Kinnegad, WH. 13.9.28!
"Is also my opinion!" A. Roman. 26.3.29.

57. [[underlined]] Pimpla brevicornis [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]]. Arklow, WI. 28.8.25. AWS. "Correct!" A. Roman. 26.3.29.

58. [[underlined]] Pimpla inanis [[/underlined]] ?? [[male symbol]]. Boher-na-breena, DU. 25.5.27. AWS. "It is not [[underlind]] inanis [[/underlined]] Gr., whose [[male symbol]] has femore I bisinuate, but what species it is I dont know. The posterior tarsi are remarkably short." A. Roman. 26.3.29.

59. [[underlined]] Pimpla detrita [[/underlined]] or [[underlined]] robusta [[/underlined]] ? [[male symbol]]. Magherabeg, WI. 1.7.27. AWS
"Possibly this is [[underlined]] robusta [[/underlined]] (which I still think = [[underlined]] nigricans [[/underlined]] Thom., though Thomson says "articuls s (tarsi postici) 3 [[degree symbol]] hand longiors," which is wrong on behalf of [[underlined]] robusta [[/underlined]]). A [[male symbol]] like this, but a little larger, is in our Swedish collection". A. Roman. 26.3.29.
