Find that Col. F. and the Iron Cliffs are not entirely harmonious. write but dont send, to mother and await developements.

Evening. Talk over the Cliffs business with Col. F. That miserly Tilden has been trying to swindle him of his just dues. He has been shamefully treated. [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] I send letter to mother.

See Kennicott, and talk over the Ex. he is anxious to have me go. Bannister and Elliot will probably go.
