B.S. 15759. Tipton Mathews, Game Warden, Jack Rabbit trap built around an artesian well. The animals entered by the sloping runs which were strewn with dirt and were unable to get out. This well was the only water supply in miles. Tulare Lake, California. November 7, 1914.
