Below at the summer houses are old [[Styreek?]] and a lot of Takitesky and Coltog Indians fishing. Get a man to cross the parrenose but he has to go up to the winter houses to get his boots and I think we shall not see him again. From Coltog down the E side is low for a long distance. Takitesky Mts in distance about 25 miles gradually nearing the River as we go south. West side low gravel banks, about 15 miles below Coltog the other Mts forming the valley of the parrenose come down to the river, wooded all along

Light-blue gray sandstone, in horizontal layers preceded by sandstone reddened with oxide of iron, and followed by a bluff of perpendicular rock of a hard quartzose character and gray color. Here we found another lot of Ingaleets fishing. Old Ivan and others were there. Below
