Work over Upper Youkon minerals all day and over alcoholic specimens and get them all finally finished. Give Stepanoff a bottle of rum & get him in a good humor. Give Bean some and Ivan Pavloff & Smith. Get a norka parkie from Ivan.
________ Monday July 29 ________
Work over a large box of specimens which we brought down from Nulato & which are all wet or damp. Label those which are unlabelled & finish the lot which takes me all day. Fish soup for dinner. We are [[underlined]] living []/underlined]] now on tea & bread straight
