Morning write to Baird and work all day over copying my catalogue which is finally finished including 4558 specimens of about 500 species, 1888 after leaving Nulato.

Morning write to Tom Newell and Uncle William. Raining & blowing hard. The 5 Okeeogemuts bidarras have left. They brought down [[lovtak?]] renne and whisky to trade with the Smagemuts.

Write to Miss Noyes, Chicago Academy also my Reports to the Colonel on Medical Dept & Sci Corps. Raining very hard. No signs of the ships.
