Work in the house, split up wood, to make fire there.  Have a good hot bath.  The old Starcek arrives from Fakitesky & wont sell his wood to me for the fish trap.

Friday, Dec-6-1867
Morning, Pay Fasentof for his work with powder from the store.  Give Yagorska 4 skeins twine.  Get a man to split strips for the fish trap
Mikaishka arrives and will help.  Go over to the island & cut a large bundle of willow to tie the traps - sharpen the axe in the evening.  Caspoff takes Rukovitska for his [[?hosaker]].  Find a woman to split willow to tie the resitkas of the fish trap.  Snows all day
