Go over to the island in the morning and bring back a load of willow for the trap.  Ivans girl is christened Caterina and we have an unusual spread of pie & coropaska for dinner.  Snows still.  The Indians work up a lot of willow.  Tarentof sets half of his fishtrap today.

Morning take a sled with Manushka and bring over a good big load of willow.  Ingechuk starts for Ulukuk with Metrikof two children.  Sell a feather bed to Carpoff on condition that he cuts the uprights for my fishtrap and two days work beside.  Pay Yagorsha 15 rubles in advance for three days work on the trap.
