ecies (unfamiliar). [[underlined]] Very [[/underlined]] different from mixed flocks in Panama. Birds also always scattered over wide area.

Vegetation here is low thick scrub with lots of small trees. Members of flock ranging from top of small trees (no more than 10 ft above ground) to ground itself ( or only a few inches above it).

Blue & Blacks may function as leaders of flocks, but probably only in same way as Firebellies elsewhere. Probably more active than all or most companions. Probably leave flocks guite frequently.

"BCBT"s here are presumably [[underlined]]flavopectus [[/underlined]] or closely related. Cap darkest around eye & along lower border. Forehead whitish in at least 1 individual. Tiny patch white behind eye. [[Underlined]] Eye itself light! [[/Underlined]]

BYB's, Blue and Blacks, [[underlined]]T. heinei[[/underlined]], "BCBT"s, warblers, all flitting about in disorganized manner. Still very quiet on the whole. There are at least three Blue and blacks in group! Also at least one Slate-throated Redstart. Many cases of Blue and Blacks [[Underlined]] not [[/Underlined]] being followed. 1 Blue and Black f [[arrow pointing right]] ("BCBT"?)

Moving on myself.

American warblers; pair of Slate-throats; at least 5 Blue and Blacks, including one [[margin note in red]] CY [[/margin note in red]] juvenile; 1 Cy, at least 2 BCBT's, one or two pairs of thrushes (really slatey, with reddish bill, legs, and eye ring); at least 3 [[Underlined]] Atlapetes rufinucha [[/Underlined]] (one pair together, one bird separate); 1 [[Underlined]] cyanocephala [[/Underlined]].

When first seen, one pair of thrushes was in front. There were
