3:55 pm. Came across what is undoubtedly largely same mixed flock seen earlier. Now includes at least the [[underline]] xanthocephalas [[/underline]], 1 Blue & Black, 2 BYB's (i.e. the BYB's must have [[underline]] rejoined [[/underline]] the group after leaving
[[left margin]] [[40 in blue. WCC in red, 41 in blue]] [[/left margin]] it once), 1⌃[[blue check mark]] White⌃[[7 in red]]-bearded Flycatcher, and [[underline]] 1⌃[[blue check mark]] ♂⌃[[8 in red]] WCC. [[/underline]] Probably others. Group has now left forest, and is flying from isolated tree to isolated tree in pasture. 20-30 ft above ground. All quiet. The 2 [[underline]] Taagara [[/underline]] species seem to be in the lead. Once, the BYB's definitely f [[arrow pointing right]] the whole group. They seem to be bringing up the rear.
BYB's seem to be [[underline]] active [[/underline]] nuclear here.
Flock moves on and I lose sight of it.
See Acorn-Woodpecker-like Woodpecker alone.
See single Sooty Thrush alone.
4:20 p.m. Another patch forest. 8175 ft. Looks like patch original [[left margin]] [[IV HO in blue]] [[/left margin]] forest. Including 10 or 12 small warbler-like birds. Usually quite high up, 25-40 ft above ground. Occasionally coming down as low as 15 ft.
[[left margin]] [[42 in blue]] [[/left margin]] This part of the group includes at least 1⌃[[blue check mark]] [[underline]] Chlorospingus canigularis [[/underline]], 1
[[left margin]] [[WCC in red, 43 in blue]] [[/left margin]] bright blue bird (♂WCC?), 1 unidentifiable⌃[[blue check mark]] migrant [[underline]] Dendroica. [[/underline]]
[[left margin]] [[44 in blue]] [[/left margin]] No [[underline]] Tangaras [[/underline]]. When the group was first seen, there also was 1⌃[[blue check mark]] Sooty Thrush in tree tops, right in the middle of the other birds. But the thrush apparently did [[underline]] not [[/underline]] follow the others when they moved on. Also close
[[left margin]] [[45 in blue]] [[/left margin]] by associated with group was 1 Yellow-faced Whitestart (see description LXXXIV). This bird spent most of its time flitting around
[[left margin]] [[51 in blue]] [[/left margin]] scrub edge forest, 1-20 ft above ground. [[6 blue check marks]]
Group as a whole fairly quiet, but there were some "CN" and "AlCN" and some more complicated vocalizations from time to time
Shortly after I became aware of the group, a [[underline]] flock [[/underline]] of "Acorn" Woodpeckers flew into trees about 5-20 ft away from the warbler-
