types. [[underlined]] At least [[/underlined]] 6 woodpeckers in the group. Silent. Ranged up and down tree trunks, 5-35 ft above ground. But they all eventually moved off in the [[underlined]] opposite [[/underlined]] direction from the warbler-type group.

Fog coming in 4:44 pm

[[Following paragraph has many markings in margins and over which cause confusion in the text if documented in same. Documenting notations here.

Green numbers in the margin refer to the following:
55 associated with underlined entirely different flock.
61 appears next to species small woodcreepers.
66 appears before 1 juv. xantocephala
71 appears before 1 ♂ and 1♀ WCC

Pink note in margin V HO next to text 1 pair of 2 different species small woodcreepers

Pink numbers appear over text as follows:
12 1 pair of 2 different species small woodcreepers
34 2 different species flycatchers
5 2 adult and 1 juv. xanthocephala
6 2 BYB's
7 Some Whitestarts
8 1 ♂ and1 ♀ WCC
7 10 migrant warblers

Additionally, there are green doublecheck marks over the quantities of each of these observations.

Will only note underlining in the text of this paragraph.]]

The warbler-type flock moves on down hill. Only 5 minutes later a flock appears in the same trees. But this seems to be an [[underlined]] entirely different flock[[/underlined]] Moving up hill. Includes at least 1 pair of 2 different species small woodcreepers, 1 pair of 2 different species flycatchers, 2 adult and 1 juv.[[underlined] xantocephala [[/underlined], 2 BYB's, some Whitestarts (unidentified), [[Margin note in red]] WCC [[/Margin note in red]] 1 ♂ and 1 ♀ WCC. Also others (migrant warblers).
All in tree-tops 15-40 ft above ground. Group as a whole quite noisy. Lots of "CN"s. Also R's.

BYBs follow and join group repeatedly. [[underlined]] xanthocephalas [[/underlined] follow --> group twice (at least). No sign of any particularly close association between the 2 species tanagers. Difficult to say who is leading group. At first, some of the wood creepers seemed to be in front. [[Margin note in red]] WCC [[/Margin note in red]] Then the WCC's seemed to be in front for a while. Wood creepers j --> WCC's.

[[Margin note in red]] WCC [[/Margin note in red]] Incidentally the ♂ WCC here has a light [[underlined]] blue [[/underlined]] cap. I think that the supposed "Glane" I saw this morning may actually have been a ♂ WCC. (The identification this afternoon is [[underlined]] definite [[/underlined]]. I saw the [[underlined]] Conirostrum [[/underlined]] bill.)

If there really were 2 flocks here this afternoon, this may be the first time I have ever seen "ranges" two mixed flocks overlapping.

This last flock starts to move on. So I go [[underlined]] inside [[/underlined]] the patch of forest. To the area where I [[underlined]] think [[/underlined]] the tail end of the flock still is. At this point, the fog turns into heavy rain. So I can no longer see
