4:17 There are now some [[insertion]]8 checkmarks[[/insertion]] birds high in tree tops here. But I can't identify any of them. Aha! One of them is a Cy. This on ahead of others. Lauds in large tree 60-70 ft up. Altitude here is 2550 ft. I think this is the lowest I have [[underlined]]seen[[/underlined]] Cy in this region. Cy apparently looking for insects in back and along epiphytes. The other birds apparently do [[underlined]]not[[/underlined]] follow the Cy. [[margin, in purple]]XIII HO[[/margin]]
Cy territory here probably overlies territory local "glane" too.
[[margin, in green]]141[[/margin]] 4:35 See another mixed flock [[insertion]]6 checkmarks[[/insertion]] in distant trees. Includes small warblers and/or flycatchers, at least, yellow-faced Whitestart, probably others. Yes! There is a part of [[underlined]]Aneuoscopus[[/underlined]] with group. At least 30 ft up in second growth tree near some mature trees. [[margin, in purple]]XIV[[/margin]]
  See single Sooty Thrush alone.
  Leaving 5:00 pm
On way back, see pair Sooty Thrushes alone in "hedge".
NOTE: It appears that they keep rainfall records here! Looking at the record, I see that there [[underlined]]was[[/underlined]] a great deal of rain here the week before I arrived. April 22-30 inclusive.
