1 unidentified N. American Warbler in dull plumage. All noisy Cy songs. Ruddies utter R's. Ruddies & warber 15 – 30 ft up. [[underline]] Cy [[/underline]] and [[underline]] xanthocephala [[/underline]] 30 – 40 ft up. Cy flies in one direction. Nothing follows immediately. [[underline]] xanthocephala [[/underline]] fly off in different direction. Nothing follows immediately.
     7:30 – 7:50. Watching mixed flock. A little further along edge pasture. When first seen, birds are in trees and scrub about 10 ft inside forest. At 

[[margin, in purple]] VI N [[/margin]] [[margin, in green]] 40 [[/margin]] this time, group certainly includes 1 ^[[checkmark ,in green]] [[underline]] Atlapetes rufinucha [[/underline]] several ^[[2 checkmarks,in green, followed by the number 4, in purple]] tree creepers,

[[margin, in green]] 44 [[/margin]] 1 ^[[checkmark ,in green, followed by the number 3, in purple]] adult Andean sparrow and 1 ^[[checkmark ,in green]] juv. same species, 2 ^[[2 checkmarks,in green]] Yellow faced Whitestarts

[[margin, in red]] Cy [[/margin]] [[margin, in green]] 47 [[/margin]] [[double underline]] and [[/double underline]] 2 ^[[2 checkmarks,in green]] Slate-throats. Possibly also 1 ^[[checkmark ,in green]] Cy. [[underline]] rufinucha [[/underline]] ^[[6,in purple]] ranging 10 – 15 ft up.
Tree-creepers about the same. Andean sparrows 1 – 5 ft up. Slate-throats 10 – 20 ft up. Yellowfaces 20 – 40 ft up. I.E. [[underline]] the 2 Whitestart species are quite well segregated. [[/underline]] Birds fairly noisy. Yellowfaces utter a few Songs.
     Then at least some of the birds, i.e. the Yellowfaces, fly out into scattered mature trees in pasture. Then I see that in adjacent tree also

[[margin, in green]] 50 [[/margin]] are at least [[underline]] 1 Sooty Thrush [[/underline]], 1 [[underline]] Compsocoma [[/underline]] (usual species), and 1 [[underline]] cyanocephala [[/underline]]. All ranging 20 – 50 ft up. [[underline]] cyanocephala [[/underline]] definitely eating berries.

Group does not seem to be making definite progress in any given direction. And all species sometimes (not always) [[underline]] very [[/underline]] scattered, difficult to determine who, if anyone, is in lead. At different times, the [[underline]] rufinucha [[/underline]], the [[underline]] Compsocoma [[/underline]], the Slate-throats, and the Yellowfaces, all have [[underline]] appeared [[/underline]] to be in the lead.

This area is approximately 2575 m.

While I am writing this down, a number of (other) birds (re)appear in exact same area where [[underline]] rufinucha [[/underline]] group seen earlier. Certainly including
[[margin, in red]] Cy [[/margin]] 1^[[1 ,in red]] Cy.^[[Checkmark,in red]]  Cy Sings. No other diglossini or Whitestart audible at the time. The Cy is approximately 10 ft up. Then these birds disappear from my sight. Less than a
