6:24 am. A few yards down road. See pair of [[two red checkmarks]] PL Altapetes in Alpine Scrub. 1-12 ft up. Very noisy. Lots of "SHN"s, "PN"s, and Greeting Twitters and Chatters. Apparently alone.
6:33. Fog completely gone now. Sun trying to come out thru clouds. [[underlined]]And all birds completely silent[[/underlined]]!
Then hear a few Dubusia Songs in distance.

6:40. See mixed flock. [[three green checkmarks]] [[underlined]]3[[/underlined]] Yellowbellies moving thru trees edge alpine scrub and "upper sub tropical". Very noisy. Ranging 6-25 ft up. Picking insects off leaves. Then they fly across road. Followed by a small bird of another species (warbler size, but unidentifiable).

A few minutes later, see pair of [[two green checkmarks]] [[insert, in purple]] 2 [[/insert]] GT's. Moving thru alpine scrub. 6-10 ft up. Silent. Moving in direction of Yellowbellies. But (still) at least 100 yds away.

GT's move off. And a minute later, see single [[green checkmark]] [[insert, in purple]] 3 [[/insert]] Big Buthraupis moving thru scrub - in opposite direction! Silent.
Is a big mixed flock in process of formation now? Still in the disorganized "mulling about" phase?
Yes!!! A minute later, see group (again). Now back on side of road where Yellowbellies seen first.

Group now includes at least 3 Yellowbellies, 2 GT's, [[green checkmark]] 2 Big Buthraupis, 1 [[green checkmark]] Cy [[insert,in purple]] 4 [[/insert]], 1 [[green checkmark]] [[insert, in purple]] 5 [[/insert]] woodpecker of a species not seen before (red cap, golden olive back), and [[green checkmark]] one large [[insert, in purple]] 6 [[/insert]] large tree creeper.

[[underlined]] Group as a whole has become coherent now[[/underlined]]. All birds quite close together. Ranging 1-30 ft apart. At least twice, GT supplants ---> Yellowbelly. All birds ranging 15-35 ft up.
