tes which I mistook for Intros earlier probably were uttered by nearly hummingbirds.) Now bird shuts up 4:40 pm.
Now I [[underline]] definitely [[/underline]] do see a couple of BG's in tree 40 ft away. Cleaning one another.
[[margin, in red]] BG [[/margin]]
Also very near a group 3 [[underline]] cayana-ruficapilla [[/underline]]. The two species apparently ignoring one another. BG's fly off. Tanagers do not follow.
Then I hear Song phrases, like one transcribed above, coming from direction in which BG's went. I am now sure that it is the BG's who are really uttering these phrases.
See small hummingbirds feeding in Eucalyptus-like flowers of tree

("Guavo")in which BG is Singing. No sign of hostility between the hummingbirds and the BG (as far as I can see - which isn't a great deal).
All the phrases which I presume are by BG are single.
Rain stopped now. But light is atrocious!
Go on a little further. See 2 (more) BG's feeding on Guavo flowers in just the same way that they would on Eucalyptus. Alone. Uttering "CN"s.

4.59. Actually it is a group of [[underline]] 3 [[/underline]] birds feeding in this tree. [[underline]] And one of them looks surprisingly like a CC [[/underline]]
[[margin, in red]] CC? [[/margin]]
(altho I can't be absolutely sure in this light). All feeding within a foot or so of one another, without overt hostility
See single [[female symbol]] Blue-capped Euphonia alone, small orange tree, 6 ft up.
Single [[underline]] Cayana-ruficapilla [[/underline]] perched top bare tree. 30 ft up. A pair

of BG' j---> tanager. Tanager flies off. BG's f --> tanager. Perhaps the BG's really are gregarious here???
See some more BT's alone.
Then see couple BG's alone in low scrub (blackberry tangles)
[[margin, in red]] BG [[/margin]]
There really are a [[underline]] lot [[/underline]] of BG's here. Probably as many as in Merida.
Leaving 5:15 pm.
