NOTE:Checking my altimeters. Now, they read 10, 400 ft. and 3225 m., at site just slightly above road.
     Everything still very quiet 5:43, altho not absolutely silent.  Sounds gradually increasing 5:30.  Can hear Firebelly and what sounds like [[underline]] B. nigroerirtatus [[/underline]] in distance.
[[left margin  Laf]] 5:53/  Hear first Laf Long.  Very prolonged.  No other Diglossene or Whitestart audible at the time.
[[left margin  99]]   6:01.  Low scrub uphill, just below taller forest. See 3 [[insert 3 check marks]] [[underline]] B. migrocrutatus [[/underline]] in scrub, 2-3 ft up. Very noisy.  All sorts of R's, "CN"s, etc. But definitely alone. (This is approximately same area where I saw same  species some days ago.
[[left margin Laf]]  Several Lafs Singing now 6:10  But area as a whole is still comparatively quiet.
     Turning colder, wind increasing 6:20.  Going back toward road.
[[left margin  100]]  See single Firebelly [[ 1 check mark]] 10 ft up small tree edge very low scrub. Silent and alone.  Flies off immediately.
    Hear first Yellow-faced Whitestart Song 6:26.  No diglonine  singing at the time.
   Single Sooty Thrush flies by alone.
[[left margin  Laf]]   There have now been quite a lot more Whitestart and Laf Songs at irregular but not very frequent intervals.  Little or nothing in the way of overlaps.
     Everything seems to be keeping [[underline]] hidden [[/underline]] now 6:55 a.m. Occasionally I can hear "CN"s deep in scrub,but I can't see anything. Going to walk along highway.
[[left margin  101]]    See single OR [[ insert 1 check mark]] Attapetes alone.  1 ft up in scrub.  Uttering "feet"s and "Int"s.  Then another single Sooty Thrush flies by.

HO ]]   7:10-7:20.  Watching mixed flock. The region rather mixed fairly low scrub, including both alpine and obviously record growth, along edge of road.
