Work over whales & map in A.M. Scammon comes in. P.M. call on Dr. Hewston, take a bath. Fine.

Church in A.M. Write letters
P.M. dine at Capt. Noyes

Monday 6
Down to Office in A.M. Wait for Davidson but don't see him. Go to Room. Scammon & Stearns come in. Evening Election Meeting of Academy of Sciences.

Tuesday 7
Working at room all day & even see Mrs. Smith in P.M.
