Up to [[strikethrough]] office [[/strikethrough]] Stearns to breakfast,
then to church. After church go aboard with Miss Noyes & show her the
vessel. - Over to room & visit office for a short time - Dine and spend
evening at the Noyes' - Evening pack bag
Monday. 28.
After breakfast take stuff from room. Call at Post Office and at Carmany's.
Send down chronometery from Tennents and go down to the landing. See Stearns,
Hodgkins, Hall and othersand bid all good bye Stow the chronometers safely
and also books &c in my room - Get everything fixed & ready by noon
Heave up and fill away by 2.05 P.M. Beat out very well although the men are
a little set up & s.m. ditto. The Marcy races out with us & comes very near
beating us, but doesn't pass us
