Baker ties the azimuths again and gets four sets. Evening Frost comes off to supper & we go round to the Tyone's again for the latter part of the evening. Friday June 27 Morning early heave up the anchor and stand out with a fair wind, but just before reaching the narrows have a back flow and are obliged to put our helm up & anchor. About noon wind comes out of the NW strong with white caps outside and we bid Frost & the Tyone goodbye and stand out to sea on our way to Kyska. Have to reef the main sail, so strong is the breeze at first, but it moderates by the time we get off shore a little and by 8 P.M. we have made over 75 miles.
