Monday Sept 15

Morning wet fog which continues nearly all day. Work over packing &c getting a good deal of stuff out of the way. Also work over memoranda [[strikethrough]]
of [[/strikethrough]] positions surroundings &c for report. Evening mending

Morning with fresh southerly winds  and broken clouds-
Obs for azimuth. later cloudy squalls  & rain. Evening clear & calm obs for azimuth on the pole star
