[[line]] Wednesday, Nov 5 [[line]] Day rainy & cloudy wind variable southerly. About night see Point Reyes Light. See a number of vessels & a great many sea lions porpoises pelicans and other birds on the left of the Cordell bank. [[line]] Thursday Nov 6 [[line]] Morning cloudy wind light northerly. break into the heads and anchor in Mission Bay about 12:55 P.M. About 2 o'clock go ashore. go to the P.O. Coast Survey Office etc. Call on Stearns, Mrs. Elmer and Capt. Noyes & back aboard at 8 P.M. [[line]] Friday, Nov 7 [[line]] Very foggy in A.M.
