The strata are gently arched at the point and more or less crumpled SE from it, are denuded to a level above upon which Pliocene or Pleistocene gravels have been deposited
The sandstone at the end of the pt. has coralliocham the shales above it Inoceramus Belemnites Ammonites etc. at the head of the little bay is a fault or break mostly concealed but SE from it coarse heavy beds of sandstone appear and cover the beach with curiously eroded fragments containing coralliochama
