Leaving the Cape and making a course NW. [[strikethrough]] by [[/strikethrough]] 1/2 W for Augustine Id the back or northern side of the Douglas massif is well seen, snow covered and with three very large snowy glaciers descending to the vicinity of the sea.  That to the east appears to be the largest and showed an even snowy surface without lateral moraines.  Northwest of the group of mountains is a space of comparatively lowland behind the shoal Kamishak Bay.  Here caribou are reported plentiful.
