Anchor off West Foreland about 4 A.M. to wait for the flood tide. A small village of Kootena Indians here some of them come off to the ship. Bluffs about 50 ft high of gravel & sand, wooded above, with some high mountains in the interior. Leave at the slack about 10 A.M for North foreland.
