About N. magnetic is seen Sushitna Mt a high peak near the Sushitna river. The land on both sides of Turnagain Arm as seen from here is high & mountainous. Anchor here for the next flood tide. [[line across page]] July 25/95. Leave about 2 A.M. with miners boat in tow. Thick & foggy. Arrive off Fire Id about 4 A.M and stand over to Pt. Possession then along the shore at 2 miles distance to a small rocky point with a lump at the end, wooded and with a small flat rock off its end. Anchor here (in 7 fms less one foot) at high water about 8 A.M. The point turns the strength of the ebb a little outside
