The recommendations was taken up in section 1. 2 & 3 voted upon and accepted.
Report from the treasurer was made by our asst treas showing a bal on hand & in Bank $2.964.99 it was moved & secd that the report from the treas be received.
Unfinished business was next in order relative to the unfinancial members.  After a brief discussion relative to the same. it was moved & seconded that this matter be given to the board of directors for consideration & that we hold the unfinancial members 30 days longer.
Our Chm of Sick was highly commended for the efficient way in which he looked after our late Bro Carroll Hawkins after which it was moved and properly seconded that we give Bro James $6.00 as traveling expenses to & from Brandywine. At the close of this meeting the same committee on anniversary was appointed by the Pres to secure a church & make all necessary arrangements for the sermon.

A request from the Chm of Sick that we suspend the 30 day rule of settlement of death claim and pay the death claim of our late Bro Hawkins at once as it was necessary.  This was voted upon and ordered paid
Sister Dunnington Made a statement relative to the keeping up of Daniel Fortine dues as she was not able to carry them any longer and desired the union to consider him a paid up member on the terms that if she should be the longest lived that she would be the beneficiary.  but should she

die first the benefits would go to the union this was voted upon & ordered to be given to the Board of Directors to consider & report to the union

The regular Monthly Meeting of the bladensburg union was held on the above date. The president presiding.
Our devotionals was in charge of our asst Chaplain  After the roll call of officers the president declared the Meeting opened for business.
After dispensing with the Minutes of our last meeting for the present. we proceeded to take up the monthly dues which amtd to $35.75 this amt was turned over to our treas.
The Minutes of our last regular Meeting was next called for read received and adopted as read.
Reports was next called for. [[centered]]
The Chm of sick reported that since our last meeting our Pres had been sick but was out again. There was no other sick reported. it was moved and seconded that the report from the Chm of sick be recd.
There was no report from the board of Directors.
The treas report was next made by our asst. treasurer Showing a bal on hand and in the Bank $2.863.39.
