Definitely alone. Everything very quiet 7:00 am. Also getting dark. More than ever, it looks like rain is coming. 7:30 am. Weather getting better. Slight trace of sunshine. Much further along road. Slightly above 8600 ft. Come across a very large and diffuse mixed flock.
