to have disappeared. All birds in this group more or less arboreal. Ranging 12 - 25 ft up in fairly small trees. Noisy. Coherent. Leadership changing. Yellowfaces, Yellowbellies, and GT's probably all in lead at different times. Different species feeding in their usual different ways.

This group progresses steadily down hill. GT's tend to lag behind as progress continues. [[underlined]] Then, suddenly, the GT's fly back up hill and join what seems to be another, different, flock!!!! [[/underlined]] This flock is only 100 yds or so "behind" first flock (and only about 100 yards from where original cluster of Yellowfaces - Yellowbelly - Sooty Thrush seen). [[underlined]] But it does seem to be a more or less "distinct" group. Going up hill. And showing a preference for lower vegetation. [[/underlined]]

This new group includes, in addition to the [[two green checkmarks]] [[in purple]] 1 [[/in purple]] GT's, [[underlined]] 1 [[/underlined]] [[green checkmark]] [[in purple]] 2 [[/in purple]] Yellowbelly, 2 [[two green checkmarks]] [[in purple]] 3 [[/in purple]] Plush-capped Finches, [[underlined]] at least [[four green checkmarks]] [[in purple]] 4 [[/in purple]] 4 or 5 H. atropeleus, [[/underlined]] at least [[green checkmark]] [[in purple]] 5 [[/in purple]] 1 Sitti, 1 [[green checkmark]] [[in purple]] 6 [[/in purple]] [[underlined]] Atlapetes torquatus (sic!), 1 [[/underlined]] [[green checkmark]] [[in purple]] 7 [[/in purple]] Little Striped Flycatcher, [[underlined]] 1 [[/underlined]] [[green checkmark]] [[in purple]] 8 [[/in purple]] Yellowface, [[two green checkmarks]] [[in purple]] 9 [[/in purple]] 2 or 3 All Rufous Synallaxis. I also hear what sounds like [[two green checkmarks]] [[in purple]] 10 [[/in purple]] Whitestripe(s) in neighborhood, but can't actually see the bird(s).

This group also very coherent. Most members ranging 2-15 ft up in scrub (lots of bamboo) and small second growth trees. Sitti staying relatively high; not seen below 10 ft up. [[underlined]] A. torquatus [[/underlined]] seen only on ground and 1 ft up.

ADDITION: Group also includes at least [[two green checkmarks]] [[in purple]] 11 [[/in purple]] two of the large white-throated woodcreepers.

The [[underlined]] atropileus [[/underlined]] do a lot of fighting among themselves. Supplants and long chases. Other members of group apparently peaceful.

Group as a whole noisy. Lost of "CN"s. And the [[underlined]] atropileus [[/underlined]] disputes are accompanied by a variety of vocalizations. But none of the species does any Singing.
