another.

I think that the "nucleus" of this flock was composed of the BCBT's, woodpecker, treecreeper and [[underlined]] cyanocephala. [[/underlined]]
[[margin,in red]] Cy [[/margin]]
The Cy probably approached and sang only as the group passed through its territory. (It shut up fairly soon as the group drifted on.) The Atlapetes may have come up from very low scrub, where they usually remain hidden, attracted by the sight of the other birds and the sound of the Cy.

Incidentally, about 3 minutes after the last of this group had [[margin,in green]] 75 [[/margin]] disappeared, at least one [[underlined]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]] [[1 pencil,1 green, 1 blue checkmark]] [[insert, circled,in blue]] 105 [[/insert]] appeared in scrub in area where group had been. I imagine it had been there all the time. But remaining silent and hidden. Like the [[underlined]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]] at the Paramo de Guasca!!! [[margin,in red]] 101 [[/margin]] In any case, it eventually [[red check mark]] moved on in a direction different from that taken by the flock.

9:30 am. See single [[underlined]] cyanocephala [[/underlined]] [[1 pencil, 1 red, 1 blue checkmark]] [[insert, circled,in blue]] 106 [[/insert]] alone. In tree-tops. Near where flock was earlier.[[margin,in red]] 102 [[/margin]] possibly it didn't follow the BCBT - woodpecker - tree creeper assemblage.

9:37. See pair of [[underlined]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]] [[two pencil, two blue, two red checkmarks]] [[insert, circled,in blue]] 108 [[/insert]] alone. Quite noisy

9:45. Stumble across another mixed flock. Includes 2 WM's [[2 pencil, 2 green, 2 blue checkmarks]] [[insert, circled]] 1 [[/insert]], 2 [[underlined]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]] [[2 pencil, 2 green, 2 blue checkmarks]] [[insert.circled]] 2 [[/insert]], 1 spinetail [[1 pencil, 1 green, 1 blue checkmark]] [[insert, circled]] 3 [[/insert]], probably [[3 green checkmarks]] others. Quite noisy. Disperses upon my arrival. (The WM's and [[underlined]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]] in this group certainly the same individuals that were in the large flock a couple of days ago.)

9:50. Continue along path. Run across pair of WM's. Certainly same birds seen a few minutes earlier. In tangles and scrub 5 - 20 ft [[margin,in green]] 85 [[/margin]] above ground. Also 1 or 2 wrens [[2 pencil, 2 green, 2 blue checkmarks]] [[insert, circled]] 4 [[/insert]] , about 30 ft from WM's. Undoubtedly same species [and same individual(s)] seen in large flock two days ago. Also in tangle 20 ft above ground. WM's uttering Al
