[[left margin in red]] Coer [[/left margin in red]]

ne. [[underlined]] Feeding on small tubular orange red flowers. [[/underlined]] Apparently [[underlined]] sticking bill down center of tubular corollas. [[/underlined]]

8:05 am. See group 3 [[three check marks]] [[underlined]] luteoviridis [[/underlined]] [[three blue check marks]] [[insert, circled, in blue]] 12 [[/insert]] - types. Probably same family group seen yesterday. (Altho they look brighter yellow in sunlight). 20 ft up in second growth trees.) Noisy. But [[underlined]] definitely [[/underlined]] alone.

8:25 am. Same general area. See some sort of mixed flock. 2 [[two check marks]] PL's [[two blue check marks]], 1 ft up in second growth AS. Noisy. Uttering "Seeet"s. There also is a pair[[two blue check marks]] [[two check marks]] of White-spectacleds in small trees above PL's. 6 - 10 ft up. Silent.
[[margin, in blue]] VI [[/margin]]
Then the White-spectacleds fly away into trees 30 ft away. PL's apparently do [[underlined]] not [[/underlined]] follow.
[[left margin in red]] Coer [[/left margin in red]]
(Note: A Coer [[blue check mark]] appeared in trees not too far away from these other birds at approximately the same time. Possibly they have [[underlined]] all [[/underlined]] been associating with one another.)

Then I approach the PL's a little more closely. See that there really are [[underlined]] 3 [[/underlined]] [[three check marks]] [[three blue check marks]] [[insert, circled, in blue]] 45 [[/insert]] individuals here. Still very noisy. But definitely alone now. And one individual seems to be picking up n us!

[[margin, in red]] Glor [[/margin]]
8900 ft 8:50 am. See single Glor [[check mark]] [[blue check mark]] [[insert, circled,in blue]] 46 [[/insert]]
alone in second growth AS.

Starting down hill again 8:55 am.

Back to area where PL's [[three check marks]] [[three blue check marks]] were seen earlier. They are still here. But now there certainly are also some other
birds in area. At least 2 [[two blue check marks]] [[two check marks]] [[underlined]] B. nigrocristatus [[/underlined]],
[[margin, in blue]] VII [[/margin]]
2 - 5 ft up in scrub. And I can hear some [[two check marks]] [[two blue check marks]] woodcreeper near by. Flock as a whole moderately noisy; but [[underlined]] diffuse [[/underlined]].

[[underlined]] (My observations this morning also would suggest that flocks here may be "transitory". [[/underlined]] E.G. various things seem to have joined up with the PL's here at different times.)

NOTE: This flock was first seen at 9:30 am. (I.E. the 2 associations with the local PL's may be [[underlined]]
counted [[/underlined]] as 2 [[underlined]] different [[/underlined]] flocks.)
