9:50 am. Not far from road. Where mixed flock seen yesterday. See quite a large flock. Probably largely same as one of the "clusters" seen yesterday,

but [[underlined]] not [[/underlined]] the same as any of the flocks seen earlier today. Includes [[two blue 
check marks]] 2 [[two check marks]] Whitestarts, 1 [[check mark]] Whitebeard [[blue check mark]] [[insert, circled]] 2 [[/insert]], 1 [[check mark]] [[underlined]] adult [[blue check mark]] [[insert, circled]] 3 [[/insert]] Coer & 1 [[check mark]] juv. [[blue check mark]] Coer [[/underlined]], in trees, 10 - 20 ft up.
(Coers [[underlined]] obviously [[/underlined]] same birds seen with group yesterday. I.E. they are [[underlined]] regular [[/underlined]] members of group.) Also 4 [[four check marks]] or 5 [[insert, circled]] 4 [[/insert]] PL's [[four blue check marks]] (one of which is a Begging juv.)

and 1 [[blue check mark]] [[check mark]] wren [[insert, circled]] 5 [[/insert]] low in scrub 1 - 8 ft up. Group [[underlined]] moderately [[/underlined]] noisy and [[underlined]] moderately [[/underlined]] coherent. Coers, Whitestarts, and PL's [[underlined]] each in lead at different times [[/underlined]]. (Incidentally, the Whitestarts are Whitespectacled of course) 

NOTE. This flock certainly does [[underlined]] not [[/underlined]] appear to be "transitory".

Working from #2 Station. Reach station 7:50 am. Go down a path I have not visited since 1962. Arrive 10,300 ft 8:00 am. Upper limit AS. Weather clear and cool. Little wind. 

See single Sooty Thrush alone. Flying across Paramo.

Everything very quiet. 

8:20 See 3 or 4 Sooty Thrushes in [[underlined]] group [[/underlined]] in AS. Alone
See an Oectheca alone. Local Oectheca is dull brown, with rufous breast and belly, superciliary, and wing stripe. Silent & alone. (This is species which also occurs at Paramo La Negra - sometimes in vicinity of mixed flocks.)
