The "Yellowfaces" certainly have [[underline]] some [[/underline]] white around eyes. Starting downhill 9:25 am. Slight fog coming in again. 9:36 am. See single ^[[checkmark in red and black]] [[underline]] B. nigrocristatus. [[/underline]] Quiet. Apparently alone 2 ft up dense scrub. [[note in left margin in red]] 12 [[/note in left margin in red]] Then hear other birds ca. 50-100 yds away. But probably not associating with the [[underline]] nigrocristatus [[/underline]] 

9:44 am Down where first flock seen this morning. Can (still) hear "Yellowface" and [[underline]] Basileuterus  [[/underline]] and/or [[underline]] Hemispingus [[/underline]] sounds. Can also hear other birds in neighborhood. But all, apparently, quite scattered. [[note in left margin in red]] 13 [[/note in left margin in red]] 

9:55am. 8780 ft. See single Ruddy ^[[checkmark in both red and black]] Flycatcher alone. Perched exposed 12 ft up region bamboo scrub.

10:02 8680 ft. Region very much cut up second growth. See pair ^[[two check marks in both red and black]] of GT's. [[note in left margin in red]] 15 [[/note in left margin in red]] Quiet. Definitely alone. Ranging 15-20 ft up record growth trees.

A few yds further down, see 2 ^[[two check marks in both black and green]] "Yellowfaces", 1 ^[[check mark in both black and green]] Ruddy Flycatcher, together in low young scrub. Ranging 6-10 ft up. Both flycatching Ruddy uttering R's. "Yellowfaces"  [[underline]] possibly [[/underline]] following [[arrow pointing to right margin of page]] Ruddy. This group moves on. [[underline]] Then, [[/underline]] I see 1 or 2 [[underline]] B. nigrocristatus [[/underline]] in scrub the other birds have just left. [[underline]] Apparently, [[/underline]] not following. [[note in left margin]] [[in green]] 48 [[/green]] [[in red]] 17 [[/red]] [[in purple]] VII HO [[/purple]] 

10:13 am. Down by road. See group 4 ^[[4 check marks in both green and black]] [[underline]] PR [[/underline]] Atlapetes in tuck low second growth. Uttering "Seeeet" Notes. Ranging 3-6 ft up. There also is a single [[underline]] cyanocephala [[/underline]] 10 ft up in nearby tree. [[underline]] cyanocephala [[/underline]] f [[line to right margin]] [[arrow pointing to right]] PR's.
