[[cricled]] 71 [[/circled]]

[[margin, in red]] Gen [[/margin]]

al Sittis in their Allogregarious behavior. (And possibly WCC's are rare or absent in many areas because they
[[margin, in red]] WCC [[/maring]]
have difficulty in "adjusting" to diffuse flocks ???)

NOTE: The scrub here is relatively sparse. All or most of it
[[margin, in red]] Ruf [[/margin]]
(even the stuff I have been calling "AS" probably is second growth). This scrub
[[margin, in red]] WCC [[/margin]]
probably is sparser than that preferred by [[underlined]] sitticolor [[/underlined]] forms. (Geowise, Rufs also differ from [[underlined]] sitticolor [[/underlined]] insofar as they apparently never occur in trees. Ruf [[right pointing arrow]] [[underlined]] sitticolor [[/underlined]] [[right pointing arrow]] WCC form a nicely graded ecological series!!!)

[[margin, in red, underlined]] sitticolor [[/margin]]

8:40 am. Same area. White spectacled still Singing occasionally. NODWAH. It has been a long time since I heard either Rufs or CII's.
[[margin, in red]] Ruf [[/margin]]
Have they gone off together? Leaving the Whitestart behind?

NOTE: The White spectacled may be quite s Allogregarious as the
[[margin, in red]] Gen [[/margin]]
Yellowface. Only more restricted in altitudenal distribution in [[underlined]] some [[/underlined]] areas.
(This probably is the highest I have ever seen the White-spectacled.)

Going back up hill.

Leaving 9:15 am. Everything dead quiet.

NOTE: Talking to the local people, I find that Santa Rosa is well [[underlined]] past [[/underlined]] El Hato.
