Where are those Seq.?

Every effort should be made to find some Esq. who themselves saw this body of Englishmen & in 1850 communicated with them. [[underlined]] Diligent [[/underlined]] search should be made for any records wh may have been deposited by Sir John Franklin or his officers in that neighborhood; every exertion [[strikethrough]] should be made [[/strikethrough]] [[insertion]] must [[/insertion]] be exhausted on the spot to find traces of the survivors if happily they exist & if not to every possible relic wh. may serve to throw light on the fate of the gallant men should be [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] brought home.
