sleep close by me. Without his dog ship's lenur [[guess]], I threw myself horizontal with the deck, making Muluk my pillow. The Romans were accustomed yearly to sacrifice a dog to the star Sirius. I thought it not more to sacrifice at least a dog's [[underline]]slumbers [[/underline]]to the [[underline]]Aurora Borealis! [[/underline]]. There with upturned face, I watch the glorious workings above! How quick the hand of God did create, destroy and reproduce this pathway of light! [[Fig. 2 drawing - perhaps showing the night sky, the letter S.E. perhaps for south east. Many lines angled at 45 degrees and circles on top, perhaps an attempt at representing the Aurora Borealis. the words "Ursa Minor" for the Constellation Ursa Minor and the Bear Star.]]

[[Fig. 3 drawing - Is small and looks like a lot of fine lines up and down.]]
