of "Dominos" with Ebierbing, Tukoolitoo, Que-jesse, OoKood-lear Sharkey & Sterry, the latter the only White with myself in the Company. This has become a favorite game with the officers & men in the steerage. While Ebierbing are stopping here I give them my bed, taking the soft side of a plank, the top of a sea chest for my lodging place. I feel to do for these friends as much as I would for any one - [[underlined]] they are deserving. [[/underlined]] While stopping with them they sought to make me comfortable & warm. How can I forget these Innuit friends?

Tuk-oo-li-too informs me that she witnessed the display of the Aurora on Monday night (Mar 11th). From her description it was the same. She says that it exceeded in beauty & magnificence all displays ever witnessed by her.

The Morning opened with a continuation of the Gale from the N.E. that commenced last eve. But at IX it nearly ceased when the Innuits announced their intention of returning. Preparations were commenced accordingly. By XI AM all were ready for the start. In the mean time it commenced to blow again; so that by the time they were under way a strong wind from the North prevailed. I asked Capt. B. for some bread (Sea biscuits) & Coffee for Ebierbing & Tuk-oo-li-too to wh. he at once responded. I let these parties take my Carpet-Sack

I regretted [[underlined]] (I always feel sad at parting with these noble Innuits) [[/underlined]] bidding them again farewell. Ebierbing & Tuk-oo-li-too take me by the hand & bid me an affectionate Good bye hoping soon to see me again. Ebierbing & Tukoolitoo with Oo-kood lear, stop at the Igloo made by them coming down by the high Bluff & in wh. they have their [[?Goons]] [[underlined]] near [[/underlined]] wh. we erected our 1st Igloo on going up. There they will remain for some time if Seals prove numerous or at least there are sufficient numbers to support the three.

If not successful Ebierbing & Tukoolitoo will then accompany me over to Frobisher Bay where I have been wishing to go for a long time. I promised Ebierbing & Tuk-oo-li-too that I would walk up to their place (Sea entrance to Bergy Bay) in about one week if weather was pleasant & I felt well, stopping with them one night.
It will take between 5 & 6 hours smart walk to go there.

To-night Ugarny & K & all the others stop with E. & T. - To-morrow they go on to Buddington Bay taking Ebierbing's dogs. Kood-loo & wife & child are then to come
