Que-jesse reports that on Tuesday, when the wind prevailed from S.W. & S.E. they (the Innuits) caught three Walrus. One was lost by the breaking up of the ice saving only the head.

Que-jes-se brought a considerable portion of a Walrus to day consisting of skin & blubber for dogs & meat for men of G.H.

"Sailor boy" returned with a nose double the size when he left having had it [[underlined]] badly [[/underlined]] frozen. Que-jesse discharged his load several miles this side of where he should, having found some difficulty in getting along as fast as he wished. These Innuits have not always the patience
