Friend pret[[guess]] [[?]]ley - According to promise I give you some of the incident of my voyage. - 
On Monday morning, June 11. 1860 while the "George Henry", a ba[[?]] from 'New London Conn., ^[[Sidney O. Buddington Master]] was dashing away finely over the Grand Bank's of Newfoundland before a smart breeze from the S.W. the cry of 'Porpoises' brought all hands on deck.
Smith - a man of some weaknesses [[underlined]] (where's the one who has none? [[/underlined]] but of genial heart & strong arms took his position by the Martingale, just under the Bar-spit, or as a Dane would call it by the 'Dolphin Striker'.
