Tuk-oo-li-tuu informs me that her [[?winga]] is better this morning. She says that [[?Arkoot]] told Ebirnbing that many White Whales were in the Bay at [[?Oo-kool]] - learn that she had captured one & [[?Myarny]] one - that they had also seen a "Po-Ma" - Black Whale. As to the White Whale, I say this skin is liked by Innuits very much - [[?worn]] better than the black skin. As to the flesh, Innuits do not care about it, while White Men like it. The meat of black whale the Innuits like & white man do not. Strange & funny isn't it? Continued T.

At one this Morn. 3 dog team & sledges with heavy loads arrived over the ice from Bay of Frobisher "Budington ville".
Que-jes-se [[space]] Charley & [[space]] came as dog drivers. No Whales seen yet. Bay been filled

It being a fine, clear P.M., I have taken the opportunity to walk over to "Look-Out" Island to take sights. The view of the Bay at the top of said Island is extensive.
