This Morning at X, Sharkey & Boat crew returned from ship. A short [[underlined]] time [[/underlined]] I learned they had returned to the vessel. They brought no word from Capt. B. had concluded not to proceed with his purpose to cruise for Whales in Frobisher Bay - that if a harbor could be found to-day in the upper part of Rescue Bay he would anchor for the season in it. These Innuits (Sharkey & [[?E-e-u-ar-ping]] with Koo-jesse & Jim Crow [[strikethrough]] the latter 2 to [[/strikethrough]] are going, I suppose with Capt. B. to point out such a place as will answer for a harbor. Rescue Harbor is a bad one to get out when the wind is favorable to go down the Bay to the Sea. I got up late this Morning from my broken sleep in taking cure of sick Ebierbing.
