The Company (?) of ducks - the hard pulling - 3 shots - 1 (Duck) killed. h3-m45 Chro started (again) after drowning & shooting one more duck & yet but a little way from 2d Enc. - for near 30 minutes the Innuits have been attempting to drown a duck - at last shot by Kood-loo when the poor duck was near drowned. The exciting chase - no less than a doz. revolutions of the Boat - the sterning - Koo-jes-se strikes Duck with steering oar. Koo-per-ne-ung fastens to it with hook - becomes free again. Seizes it once when under water at the bow of the Boat & is fast to it with his hand - feathers pull out - his hand full of feathers. Duck gone! Koo-per-ung 2 shots. Koo-jes-se one - last Kood-loo's wh. kill it. The position of Koo-per-neu-ung & Kood-loo one on bow of the Boat sighting the direction of duck under the pellucid waters, a motion of the hand shows Koo-jes-se wh. way to steer - the 3 Innuit women obey every call at the oars. The motions & noises of Koo-per-neu-ung with his hook in hand a
