Coming up here, I found the same kind of stone wh. is so abundant on "Iron Island" I visited yesterday.  It has considerable Plumbago in it - found also fossil stone ^[[(really pieces of limestone) H.]] even to top.  
Height of land or mountain 1000 feet I should think.
