Koo-jesse did not return last night from his Took-too hunt of yesterday. At 7-30 AM we heard a gun report on the opposite side of the Bay we had our 7th Encampment which signified to us to come on. Immediate work was commenced to strike Tupiks & away. While breakfast was preparing opperations were carried on transfering things to the boat. Before the gun report however we were making a lunch on the racks of raw Took-too the meat (Venison) in one hand & a slice of Took-too tallow in the other. The latter is super excellent eating the former being of the order excellent. Of course both eaten now.
