Noo-oo-ten - the Innuit name of the O.G. Cape.
12-45 Arrive at the village 4 Tupiks of Annawa, Cheo-in-Koo, Artark-pa-ru & Oo-ming-nuk, Esk-e-loo having his residence in Artarparus Tupik.  All men Innuits but A. gone Took-too hunting.  The ladies heartily laughing!
My visit to place at one side of bluff making (sewing) Kia.  A small tupik covering 3 women crowded to-gether sewing with great skill the [[?stindeing]] soft skins (seal skins)
The large braided white Whale thread.  The nursing big boy of Annawa hard drawing at the big fountains standing up while the mother sewed.

The kia covering suspended to a pole resting (against the side of a large perpendicular rock) [[strikethrough]] on the rocks. [[/strikethrough]]   Everything kept  in a neat state - the water tight seams!  No sewing better executed !
On strings stretched from tupik to tupik Venison & Ook-gook meat Drying in the Sun.  Took-too in abundance.  All living first rate.  My call at the Tupiks.  The one in Atark-pu-ru's

Kujesse & Tunukdelien at home feasting on raw venison - a huge pole of it being in one corner of the Tupik the acquisition by [[?Eeheloo]] who & other Innuits supply noble Artarkparu with it.  My participation in the feast - the present of pockets full dried Took-too by A noo-loo-an-a.
My return to Boat.  A. remaining in her to keep her off the rocks.  My trial of his Ki-a - the experiment of getting in - a difficult job - when in, the instance came near capsizing.  Like a child's learning to walk to get the right balance of the Ki-a.
Koo-jes-se comes down & takes my place & exercises in throwing spear &c.  The trucking for Ook-gook skin for soles of Kumings by the crew & slef.
