We are out in the Bay & Stopped Sealing.
I see we are drifting fast with ebbing tide.
We start V - 15 chro. not having shot a Seal though 20 shots have been made.  This Bay must be 20 miles deep 
Koo-jes'se has been to Ki-Ki-tuk-ju-a Isd. & says that in one day can go to head of it.  I think by this \\\\ 20 miles deep.
VI - 25 up to the Long Island left Hand trending with many small ones lower end of it W & E by [[strikethrough]] C. B [[/strikethrough]] [B. Compass]
VI - 40 Koo-jes-se shot a Seal with my rifle.  The oars placed us at once on the spot.  Kood-loo struck his hook into the bleeding Seal - his hold was not good & down sank the [[underlined]] poor [[/underlined]] dead Seal.  The water blood red all around!
The oars were plied on one side with such force that it threw the Boat around, & not being able to turn the steering oar or lift it out of the water came near knocking me into the water!  The Innuits are splitting their sides at the joke wh. appears to be all on their side
