Koo-per-neu-ung this moment ^[[(VIII Eve)]] comes in saying that Koo-jes-se is near by. Now for the trip across the [[in blue]] ^[[ [head of Frobisher] ]] [[/in blue]] Bay - [[strikethrough]] on [[/strikethrough]] to Kin-gaite side!
But I was writing of my good

living. Twer-oong brought in for supper Boiled rein deer tongues & Ood-noo. Puto brought cooked Nowyers - birds of good eating.  By the by, I made an American Pudding to-day or rather, a pudding made [[underlined]] my way [[/underlined]] out of [[underlined]] American [[/underlined]] material.  It consisted of Sea-bread broken up fine & soaked in cold water - & into this I mixed the [[?Ponng-ungs]] presented me yesterday - then I drank off the water & into the Mass - or 'Mess' - incorporated molasses.  This made my American Pudding. I enjoyed its consumption finely. I doubt not it done the 'in-man' [[underlined]] good. [[/underlined]] There was no cooking of this dainty dish. The bread portion of it however was baked in New London, Ct. where they can make Wonder Clocks Wonder Nutmegs, & [[underlined]] if they try hard, [[/underlined]] can make Wonder

bread at least something that looks very much like [[underlined]] saw-dust-pudding! [[/underlined]]  This is no reflection - retrograde - back onto my American Pudding. O, No! No!!

Koo-jes-se has arrived - brought 4 Took-too skins showing that he has killed 4 (Four)! What a pity that so excellent meat as Venison should be abandoned! He has seen nothing of Kood-loo. He (Kood-loo) still remains out. The weather still [[underlined]] fine [[/underlined]] & indications ^[[are every way favorable]] of its continuance.
