By Az. Compass at 12th Encampment the Bluff of Ki-Ki-tuk-ju-a bears this morning 161° - Time by Chro. 23hXI-m30 (h6-30 AM)
As will be seen 5th page preceeding this, yesterday Morn at IX AM the Compass showed the bearing of same bluff 163° at 4 PM 165°! Now this Morn 161° - a variation of 4° degrees from last Evening! (In one hour or 2 we start across the Bay - making Kin-gaite our 13th encampment. Both Boats keeping Co. Kood-loo not returned, but by an arrangement previously made with him he will find us on the other side of Head Frobisher Bay.)
Had a Salmon breakfast this morning. Never enjoyed finer eating. A few minutes boiling made it so tender that it melted like butter in one's mouth!
