about Kud-le-par-me-nu. All thought of any & everything else was banished from their minds as appeared to me. They wanted I should [[underlined]] "talk" [[/underlined]] to them about what it said to me! My imperfect knowledge of their language precluded all attempts to tell them [[strikethrough]] what [[/strikethrough]] much that it did say. Twer-oon asked me if it talked about Ad-le-[[?paw]]-me-un, pointing down. I answered affirmitively. Here again was surprise intermingled with joy. O, how I longed to possess the power of communicating to them of Christ - God - Heaven - of all that pertains to a Godly life!

Kud-le-par-me-un Heaven
Ad-le-pow me-un Hell - nearly

At V O'Clk this eve the fog & thick clouds lifting up, I took a walk to the mountain top flanking the place of our 13th Enc. for the purpose of taking sights, but ere I had a chance, all because enshrouded again - even where I was; but I had a good walk a good time for contemplation.
How oft the noble, Henry Grinnell comes to mind. I delight to dwell upon that man's life - his works - his noble deeds. I feel to work for his approval as well as all [[strikethrough]] those [[/strikethrough]] others who so generously gave me their hands & hearts in the Cause for wh. I left my Home - my Country - my all. [[underlined]] My dear One too [[/underlined]] - & my dear little ones, Annie & 'Grinnell'! How glad [[underlined]] they [[/underlined]] will be to see me again. How my joy-leaping heart will expand as I embrace [[underlined]] these jewels [[/underlined]] again.
